The ‘Black Bridge’ across the Androscoggin River in Brunswick. Built in 1909, it had a one-lane highway bridge suspended below. The highway span was removed in 2011 after a vehicle collision and deteriorating structural conditions. Suspension footbridge beyond, and FJ Wood highway bridge in the distance.
