Onawa Trestle Bridge over Ship Pond Stream. Built of wood in 1887; redone in steel in 1896, current concrete structure built in 1931. Longest and highest RR bridge in Maine at 1,230 ft long and 130 ft high. Lake Onawa in background. Borestone Mountain to the left. Appalation trail passes along the ridge to the right.
