The Penobscot River winds through the town of Bucksport, Maine. The Penobscot Narrows Bridge, Maine’s only cable-stay bridge, built in 2006 frames the former Bucksport paper mill between its towers. And the foundations from the 1931 suspension Waldo Hancock bridge beneath. Verona Island and the town of Bucksport are on the right.
