Thomaston Maine limestone quarry and Dragon Cement lime kiln. Built in 1927 after nearly 200 years lime production in neighboring Rockport and Rockland, the quarry and kiln are estimated to have capacity to produce for another 100 years. Beyond on the left is the Weskeag River, on the right the St. George River Basin, and further on, Penobscot Bay.
